A Brief Introduction To GTEU
Guangxi Teachers Education University (GTEU) is a public university in China, located in Nanning- Capital City of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. GTEU was founded in October 1953. In the past 60 years, GTEU has developed into a higher teacher education institution with a large scale, sound foundation, rational majors and great potentiality and work with more than 40 partner universities all over the world. It now consists of four campuses: Mingxiu Campus(Headquarters), Changgang Campus, Mingyang Campus and Wuhe Campus (Under construction). There are 17 colleges, 4 public teaching departments, 36 research institutes which cover 9 disciplines of philosophy, literature, economics, law, pedagogy, sciences, engineering, management and history and provide 51 BA undergraduate and 40 MA & MS postgraduate programs. It has a number of about 15000 full-time students, including 2000 master postgraduates and 500 international students.
We offer a thriving international community, an open and multicultural environment and exciting opportunities to study in Nanning. In the past 30 years, our university has trained about 4000 international students from USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Argentine, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, Vietnam and so on. Every international student is welcome to choose the programs for study in our university. In the University, College of International Education and Culture is in charge of international students’ recruitment and daily management.

3. Completing the application
Whichever application method you use, you will be asked to specify the grogram of study that you wish to apply for and give details of your qualifications. You should also provide the following supporting documents:
(1) Application form
(2) Passport and photocopies of the visa page
(3) 4 passport photos (33 X 48mm)
(4) Where appropriate, proof of qualifications via copies of certificate and transcripts with notarizations.
(5) All original certificates and transcripts need to be offered when enroll any courses.
4. Offers
(1) If your application is successful, you will receive an official offer letter.
(2) Form JW202 for international student visa application in China
5. Fees (in the appendix)
Any students should pay the relevant tuition and accommodation fees after registration. Otherwise, the
enrollment documents will not be given for the student visa application purpose.
